Our purpose

Prevention becomes stronger when communities are prepared.

GSPA is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing suicide and relieving human suffering through education, research, community engagement, and evidence-informed suicide prevention initiatives.

Our work is grounded in a simple belief: suicide prevention is a shared responsibility. Informed, compassionate communities can make a meaningful difference when they are prepared to recognize warning signs, reduce stigma, strengthen connection, and respond appropriately.

We create practical educational programs for organizations that want to care for their people well—without asking every participant to become a mental health professional.
